Kick starting the "BETA MAX" moniker on February 10th 2010 with a free house boot of "2U4U" in honor of the late J Dilla who passed away 4 years ago that day.
I wanted to do something that celebrates a producer I highly admired and still inspires me to this day. Check back on the site or my Facebook updates on Wednesday Feb, 10th for download info. -DM

Here's a small update on what's been happening as of recent. I am very excited to be working on two EPs (Guesthouse & Sampled) and a few other remixes - one of which is for my boys Axiom and Nemo "Drug Mules." They have a killer EP in the works. I am also working one other mix for a classic 90's track. You’ll have to stay tuned for more details.

I did a little remix for Juan Atkins & Kimyon's new track "Work for Money" featuring vocals by Tricia. It was released by new hot label - All About - ran by my good friend Luis Baro. On the remix I went very minimal on the vocals and tried to keep the beat nice and dubby with a little infused tech soul. You can check it out along with the other mixes at Beatport, Traxsource, Juno and Stompy. |

Straight out the oven! I know I have been slacking on the website for way too long, so I’m glad to finally have it up and running. People have been asking about me, so hopefully this is a great way to keep everyone up to date with gigs, releases, and whatever else might sound interesting. |
